It never ceases to amaze me the world that exists in my little suburban back yard. Hundreds of plants, insects, and animals.
I love traveling, but it is also good to remember that discoveries and adventures are wherever you look for them.
Mantis: "Hi, do you like cannibalizing your mates too?"
Me: "No, no I do not."
Cicada shell resting on a dead plant. I was enamored with the colors here. Both shells of their true selves.
Small writing spider. Always good to not find your name written in their web.
While these are the yearly variety, some Cicadas can live underground for years , and lay hundreds of eggs each.
The more little things I notice, the more I wonder what I am missing.
