The winter has an impressive way of transforming landscapes. In the summer, this stream is lush and green, but now it hardly looks like it could sustain life.

There is a certain kind of feeling in the air during holidays. I think it's panic. Or at least a relative. It's that feeling where 20 pounds of turkey need to be prepared and shoved in the oven, while every other desert and side dish you can imagine need to be prepared simultaneously. When this feeling begins to float through the air, I understand it to be the best course of action to stay the hell out of the way, unless otherwise instructed. To stay out of trouble I set out to explore the changing scene of the backyard. This is what I returned with.
